lazy or burnt out?

I have a great idea for a collab, but no motivation at this moment to get it started...

I had a great idea for a christmas movie, but all I got done was a fifteen minute crappy santa walk sequence...

It's been a long year of working hard and now I'm lacking inspiration.
I think I'll take a rest, get out there in the real world and have me some fun, then when the ideas start flowing again early in the new year I'll come back and kick all your arses...

I'm still lurking around though watching movies and leaving stupid comments around the place...

Sounds like a case of being burnt out. I was burnt out after Collin and the Wishing Tree (as you can see i disappeared for about 2 months + school and whatnot). You should totally take a break. Its healthy. Go out. Watch a few animated films you never watched before to get your inspiration back. I would check out paprika if you haven't seen it yet. It is surreal

how bout lethargic or listless? although i'm really looking forward to the collaboration, the holidays are coming up and being a bitch to my schedule too. maybe its good for us all to take a break. nothing like the holidays to put our place in the world in perspective and cause mass depression.....which leads to denial and distraction - ie flash! yippee! the cycle continues on and on.
