New super friendly dance spectacular movieness...

I've finally finished the new music syncing movie thing I was making to get myself back into animation again after a short break. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I'm really enjoying pose to pose keyframe animation.

I'm going to install it in a group exhibition on a continuous loop with headphones in March, which should be pretty exiting, at least for me.

Maybe one of these days I'll come up with a meaningful story to animate, any ideas?

I came, I saw, I fived it, and then I came back here and laughed hysterically at twisting pete for 5 minutes, all the while trying to think up a meaningful story for you to animate. All I could think of was a poisonous cactus that wants a hug, but cannot obtain said hug for obvious reasons.

My parents are a few towns away from where the fires were, and friends I grew up with are badly effected by them. One of my closest friends has lost his dad. It's completely fucked. The weather was over 46 degrees and there was a strong hot wind, so the entire town of Kinglake was swomped with a rain of burning embers, and everything was burned in a really short space of time. There's no way to fight that sort of fire. Hopefully they can get the fires under control or they burn themselves out before the crazy hot weather kicks in again in the next couple of days.
