Animation is the imagination laid bare for all to see, our own personal constructed realities shared with others, story telling in it's purest form, or just a bunch of funny shit drawn for people to laugh their arses off to. It's all good.

What software did you use to make this animation? Also, what frame rate did you use?

I used photoshop for the paper loop in the background, but everything else was in flash, with a little bit of illustrator when flash wasn't cooporating with the shapes. The frame rate was 30fps.

That monster short was cool!

have you seen the whole thing? because that's just a teaser, it's going to be great!! :D

amazing job on your origami short,

always loved your sketchyfriends animations but I dont think they ever showed any type of weight and flow of movement as well as you latest submission does.

good shit.

cheers MindChamber, I kind of treated this as a bit of a test to see if I could do it. The sketchy friends stuff is all about playing, but I approached this piece with a more serious intent.

You're being silly when you say folding paper demonstrates overlapping action, aren't you?

I'm being DEADLY SERIOUS

Do you EVER have anything negative to say about anyone?

I've got better things to do with my time than hurt peoples feelings. I often give people constructive criticism and advice, but I know that my opinion about what's right is just that, and can very different to someone else's, that's what makes art and the world as a whole an interesting place. You can't change someone's mind or behaviour by hating on them. :)

That voice actor playing the monster sounds SO familiar.
Also...I think all that food actually goes in his head.

indeed, these are two very good observations :)

AWESOME! Thanks to you I learned to make my first paper crane! This animation was beautiful and helpful!

excellent! I'm glad you got something out of it! :D

That animation looks great U:

thanks Yotam, did you fold a crane? :)
