Stop motion of a polaroid transfer.

I did a photography workshop a couple of weeks ago on making polaroid transfers, in which you expose then quickly strip apart a polaroid photo before it develops, then use the wet ink from that to make a print. It's fairly complicated stuff, but basically it gives you some really interesting old fashioned effects. This animated gif was made by stripping the top layer of gloss from the exposed polaroid paper (it comes off looking like a temporary tattoo) then pushing it around under a camera taking stop motion shots. The result isn't the most fantastic thing ever, but it does have that interesting yet creepy feel to it, like something out of the ring...
