you're back!

I really missed seeing your stuff, I love the feeling of your work... unpredictable fast motions, and camera shakes balanced by still and very peaceful shots, it's a highly expressive style of animation.

you get a yes.

MorrowDays responds:

thanks boooooogley
you put that very nicely!

camera effects are something I really want to put more time into one of these days. they're fun.

This is lovely turtleco, those transitions made me want to melt and explode :D

turtleco responds:

lazymuffin already did that you poser....

but seriously...

thanks man, you are pretty too.

very nice

the mood is very sweet and the characterisation is very good. Yes, it is choppy and made quickly, but that doesn't do it any harm really, just makes it more charming. :)

JelliedFox responds:

Well, I'm happy that despite its flaws you still find it charming~ <3

YES!

I've asked the baby jesus to show me this movie every night for months... finally he came through for me. :)

beautiful work, a great balance between serious and silly. The expressions are hilarious! What happens now?

Sexual-Lobster responds:

hi theboogley!

The little girl goes to hair dressing college but drops out because she can't take the pressure. Great Destiny Man goes on to have a long and successful career as a marauding maniac.

so much fun to watch

that guy has such an infectious smile and the background it hypnotic!
nice frame by frame work and silliness, you are becoming more skillful by the second :O

HolyKonni responds:

thank you very much :)

nice keyframing and staging

I loved the shot selections and the drawings were great, but the animation and inbetweening could've been better, and will be I'm sure as you keep working and produce better and better work.
Are you working with a wacom tablet? If not, start, if so turn on pressure sensitivity to get the thick and thin line and focus on getting those inbetweens as neat as possible...
Also, because this contained so many fast movements there was a need to focus on overlapping actions, whereby a part of the body leads the movement and the rest catches up. You got it spot on when the big guys takes a swing at him with his sword, and I really love the arc in the action when he catches and redirects the missile.
You are talented and I can't wait to see what you come out with next! :D

Tyler responds:

Thanks for the review! I'll be sure to take this into consideration on the
next thing I do. :3

brilliant script!

I nearly pissed myself, it's right up there with Cyanide and Happiness!
Keep it up! :D

oh and the music over the credits nearly gave me a heart attack...
horrible horrible horrible... make it stop... {:0

just2pale responds:

lol thanks - oh and love your sketch friends dance 2. Really well done.

Ahhh whats wrong with the music hahah.

Animation is the imagination laid bare for all to see, our own personal constructed realities shared with others, story telling in it's purest form, or just a bunch of funny shit drawn for people to laugh their arses off to. It's all good.
