There are so many cartoons throughout the history of animation about frogs, it's crazy!
I think it's because they are so stretchy and floppy that you can do crazy things to their anatomy and still have it be believable. And they are also so damned funny looking and cute.
anyway, here's a few of my favourites from what I've seen lately;
Cartoon Hangover featured this short by Chris Confortti called "frog" last week. If you haven't been watching cartoon hangover or channel frederator you really should, they're always showing great work... they even showed one of mine about a year ago.

This next one is Swing Wedding produced by Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising 1937. The voices and movement are amazing in their exaggerations, and the swing music is just so damned sassy you'll be uncontrollably shaking yer ass! It's loaded up to the brim with racial stereotypes but that was the style at the time...

Then there's Flip the Frog, the character by the god of early animation Ub Iwerks this one's The Cuckoo Murder Case (1930) It's not his best but I love the way he moves and the stupid slapstick interactions with his phone and car. If you're making a part for The Throwback Collab, this is the kind of thing that 10JD is looking for.

oh and I think I heard a rumour about disney making something frog related recently, but who knows if that's true.
Here's a gif of a running froggy fish type guy for DarkShadow8181's weekly animation throwdown from a couple of weeks ago.
He's put together a weekly challenge for people to create and discuss their animation, the latest topic is jumps, which would be perfect for frogs! It's interesting and full of tips to make you a better animator so get your damned selves involved.
